ABOUT THE CLINIC...
In fastpitch softball it has been said that pitching is 90% of the game. Since most of us were not pitchers, it might also be accurate to say that 90% of softball coaches may feel that they don’t know or don’t want to know about pitching.

Teaching fastpitch pitching has traditionally been done by those who were pitchers or those who have studied pitching and are passing along what they have learned to young athletes.

We believe there are many softball coaches who want to learn more about pitching, but are hesitant because they weren’t pitchers. As a result, we decided to conduct the National Softball Coaches Pitching Clinic so that softball coaches at all levels can learn how they can help their pitchers reach their full potential.

The two-day clinic will cover several aspects of pitching, from fundamentals and mechanics to the mental aspects of the game, and pitching problems and corrections to panel discussions.

On every pitch, the pitcher is the focal point of the game. Pitchers need solid mechanics, poise, confidence and discipline to manage their position well. This clinic will provide softball coaches the opportunity to learn more about pitching and how they can help their pitchers maximize their potential.

We have an outstanding lineup of instructors with an impressive range of experience and success. They will offer you instruction, tips and ideas that you will be able to use to improve your pitching staff.
